Selva Armonía sits at the top of its own retreat above Uvita, on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. The two-story Deluxe Bali Villas we built there are meant as a secluded sanctuary, with jungle views that fall away toward the ocean.

We prefabricated two Bali-inspired bungalows for the site, built on recycled ironwood foundations in keeping with Selva Armonía's eco-conscious approach. The foundation choice also made for a faster, more cost-efficient reassembly once the structures reached Uvita.

It's a clear example of what we aim for on retreat projects generally: sustainable materials and a design that settles into the landscape instead of standing apart from it.
