The process
From the first drawing to the day you move in, here's exactly what we handle, what falls to you, and where that depends on where you're building.
The journey begins with the design of an authentic Balinese villa. We design every prefabricated structure ourselves, staying in close contact with you throughout so the finished drawings match what you pictured.
Once the design is approved, we source and kiln-dry the timber ourselves and prefabricate the full structure in our Bali workshop, blending traditional Balinese and Javanese building methods with modern technique. Interior furniture is built alongside it, so the villa and everything inside it arrive as one coordinated set.
Once your villa is ready, we take care of the entire shipping process: packing, loading and moving it via our trusted logistics partners to any global destination. We also handle customs clearance ourselves, working with our agent in Costa Rica or a local clearance agent of your choice elsewhere, and prepare all the required documentation.
In Costa Rica and Panama, we offer full local construction support and can manage nearly all of the build ourselves, or work alongside a contractor you already trust. Outside those two countries, the local construction is on you: we supply a detailed instruction manual and remote or on-site guidance, so the crew you hire can raise it without prior experience building Balinese wooden villas.
The final stage is simple: the completed villa is handed over to you. Everything before this, the design, the build, the shipping, and either the construction or the support behind it, leads to this moment.
We use only the highest-grade materials for every build: benkirai (balau), teak and recycled ironwood, all naturally resistant to termites and sourced and processed to F27 structural grade or greater.
Every piece is dried in-house using the internationally recognized kiln drying method, for durability that holds up long after installation.
We're fully certified by SLVK (Sistem Verifikasi Legalitas Kayu), which confirms our wood complies with Indonesian law and qualifies for the V-Legal Certificate required for export. It's our guarantee that everything we build with is 100% legal and sustainably sourced.
More on our craftWe go beyond the villa itself, sourcing and creating custom furniture, hand-carved details and high-end architectural elements to complete a project: bespoke furniture, stone carvings, ceramics, tiles and statues, each made with the same precision as the structure around it.
From a catalogue of curated designs or a reproduction of something you already have in mind, every piece is chosen or made to sit naturally in the space it's built for.
